She’s a proud mother to son Mack, four, and daughter Scout, two.

And on Sunday, Allison Langdon was every inch the doting mother as she enjoyed a fun day at the beach with her two children.

The Today show host, 42, shared a series of sweet photos to Instagram of herself with Mack and Scout enjoying a swim.

In one photo, Allison is pictured sitting in a rock pool while her children splash nearby.

She also shared another sweet photo of herself smiling with her daughter.

Allison shares her children with her husband Michael Willesee Jr, who she married in 2008.

Michael used to be a TV presenter, but now has a corporate job at Westpac.

Last month, Allison spoke out about her own parenting style in light of her new show, Parental Guidance.

In an interview with Stellar, the 42-year-old explained she had enjoyed a ‘free-range’ childhood while growing up on a farm.

But after moving to the city with her family, she says her own parenting style is completely different.

‘Because we now live in the city I’ve become far more helicopter-like,’ she said.

Helicopter parenting is when parents are over-involved in their child’s life, many times as a way to protect their child.

Free-range parenting, meanwhile, is the concept of encouraging children to function independently and with limited parental supervision.
