He said: ‘Y’all are some b****es for leaving this arena. I know you don’t want that s***. I’ll take out both of y’all next. Get out of your contracts with daddy Dana (White). I’mma f*** them up too.’

On the undercard of the Paul bout, Chris Avila fought Anthony Taylor, with Diaz supporting his training partner Avila against Paul’s former sparring partner Taylor.

The 36-year-old Diaz was cheering on Avila, who eventually won on points over eight rounds.

When asked for his thoughts on the main event before the fight, 36-year-old Diaz (20-13) had said: ‘Nah, I don’t give a f***’.

Diaz was then replaced by Masvidal, a friend of Woodley, in the front row.

The Floridian, 37, who is 35-15 in the UFC, has previously said: ‘Who the f*** is this Paul kid? He thinks we’re friends, because I gave him some advice in the Ben Askren fight. Get the f*** out of here, bro. I’ll slap you and whoever the f*** you want, bro.’
