$20 Woolies mascara MAFS star is OBSESSED with Martha Kalifatidis MCoBeauty

REVEALED: The $24 mascara named one of the best-selling buys at Woolworths for 2021 – and it has a huge celebrity following

  • MCoBeauty $24 was mascara declared top-selling cosmetics buy at Woolworths
  • The vegan, cruelty-free product named best-selling Woolies mascara since 2020
  • MAFS star Martha Kalifatidis and comedian Celeste Barber swear by the formula

A $24 mascara has been named one of the best-selling products at Woolworths for 2021 – and it’s the most popular cosmetics buy over the past 12 months.

The MCoBeauty XtendLash Tubular Mascara has now held the title of best-selling cosmetics item in the supermarket for two consecutive years  and it’s easy to see why.

Married At First Sight star Martha Kalifatidis, who is currently on holiday in Mexico with her fiancé Michael, revealed that she has been using the mascara instead of her usual name brand buy.

‘Look at this formula … I haven’t even curled my lashes but it’s so impressive and dark. I’m in shock,’ she said.

The award-winning mascara stands out from traditional options because it has a tubular formula that coats each individual lash in a synthetic polymer that stays put all day long.

MCoBeauty promises the vegan and cruelty-free product won’t flake or smudge and is easily removed with warm water.

But the MAFS star isn’t the first celebrity to discover the highly coveted product.

The cheap Woolworths mascara is a cult favourite

Its no-flake and no-smudge formula is riveting

Australian comedian Celeste Barber insists the mascara is the best she’s ever tried.

The ultra-relatable funny woman, who was recently announced as the new face of the brand, took to Instagram stories to plug her favourite products – including the mascara she claims is her favourite of all time.

‘Honestly, I’m the last person who should be giving beauty advice, so I won’t,’ the 38-year-old said.

The mascara, which promises to maximise length, curl and volume without flaking or smudging, is a budget-friendly imitation of Kevyn Aucoin’s ‘The Volume Mascara’, a cult favourite that costs $45 at cosmetics stores like Sephora.

Celeste, who famously raised over $50million for Australian bushfire relief in 2020, also heaped praise on MCoBeauty’s $28 Miracle Hydra Glow Oil-Free Foundation and its $22 Instant Camouflage and Contour Concealer.

She described the combination of the two as ‘the absolute t***s’.

Celeste said she loves the foundation because of the natural coverage it gives skin, adding: ‘It comes with a little primer and it doesn’t look like you’ve got makeup on!’

She went on to rave about the $18 Brow Fill and Set pencil and gel, which she uses to shade her eyebrows that ‘fell victim’ to the over-plucking trend of the 1990s.

MCoBeauty products have been flying off shelves since the endorsement, which would have reached many of the comedian’s 7.6million Instagram followers.

The brand is known for its range of affordably priced dupes of high-end products including the $45 Kevyn Aucoin mascara and Tarte Cosmetics’ $42 Shape Tape Concealer.
