Katherine Schwarzenegger shows off her baby bump while doing some shopping with a friend

Katherine Schwarzenegger showed off her baby bump just over a month after she revealed she’s expecting her second child with husband Chris Pratt.

The 32-year-old author was spotted doing some shopping with a friend in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon.

She welcomed her first child Lyla in August 2020 with her 42-year-old husband, who also shares nine-year-old son Jack with his ex-wife Anna Faris.

Schwarzenegger, the oldest child of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, headed out wearing blue denim maternity overalls from Seraphine covering a black top.

She also had a number of necklaces and small earrings for the shopping outing, along with a pair of black sunglasses.

She completed her look with a full length black coat with white sneakers while carrying a leopard print purse. 

Pratt had opened up about expanding their family last summer, revealing in an interview he’d, ‘love’ to have, ‘as many [kids] as the man upstairs will provide.’

‘We’ll do it. I’ll probably have to talk to Katherine about that but my plan is, let’s go,’ Pratt said.

The couple announced just a few months later they were expecting their second child together, though the child’s gender and due date is currently unclear. 

Katherine wrote her first book Rock What You’ve Got: Secrets to Loving Your Inner and Outer Beauty from Someone Who’s Been There and Back in 2010, while attending the University of Southern California.

After graduating from USC, she compiled the career advice she had gotten from several athletes, singers, entrepreneurs and actors into a second book, I Just Graduated… Now What? in 2014.

She also wrote a children’s book, Maverick and Me, in 2017 and The Gift of Forgiveness: Inspiring Stories from Those Who Have Overcome the Unforgivable, which was published in March 2020.

Her husband Pratt will be returning to the small screen later this year with his new Amazon Prime Video TV series The Terminal List. 

He will also return as Star-Lord in the highly-anticipated sequel Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3, which is currently filming.

The actor will also reprise that same role for The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, which will debut on Disney Plus late this year.
