Catherine Zeta-Jones, 52, takes rare photo of her husband Michael Douglas, 77, and their adult children Dylan and Carys in the Caribbean
Michael Douglas appeared to be a very happy father in a shot that was shared to his Instagram account on Wednesday.
In the photo, the 77-year-old performer was seen posing for an image with his son Dylan, 21, and daughter Carys, 18, while they vacationed in the lush jungles of Dominica in the Caribbean.
The picture was taken by his 52-year-old wife Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Douglas kept it relatively casual in the shot, as he wore a gray t-shirt and a pair of light red shorts.
The proud parents initially met when they were introduced by mutual friends at the Deauville Film Festival in 1998.
Prior to meeting the actress, the Wall Street actor was married to Diandra Luker, whom he wed in 1997.
The two went on to welcome a son named Cameron a year after they tied the knot, and they eventually dissolved their union in 1998.

Zeta-Jones was previously engaged to Scottish actor Angus Macfadyen, 58.
Douglas and Catherine announced that they were expecting their first child in 1998, and they became engaged the following year.
The two went on to both welcome Dylan into their lives and tied the knot in 2000.
That is the same year their crime drama feature Traffic came out.
The happy couple later expanded their family with Carys’ birth in 2003.

Douglas and Zeta-Jones were reported to have separated and considered divorce in 2013, although they reconciled that same year.
The actor spoke about prying into his daughter’s dating life during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, where he expressed that he was happy to give her tips on dealing with potential partners.
He stated: ‘I give a lot of unsolicited advice, which is not a great idea, but I can’t help myself!’

The performer then spoke about getting closer to Zeta-Jones over the course of their marriage and noted that he was happy to have her for a wife.
‘I’ve learned over the years to just, you know, honor and cherish. And part of that is getting older too because you have a finite amount of time left and you might as well make it as best you can,’ he said.
Douglas also pointed out that he was more inclined to spend time with his spouse than any other individual.

‘I try to be as considerate as I can to the person closest to me rather than waste my time with people I hardly know,’ he stated.

He said: ‘We’d love to do things together. We did one picture years ago…now that we’re pretty much empty-nesters, we might consider that!
