How to get your hands on FREE booze-inspired Gelato Messina this Friday

Messina are showcasing their new prosecco-inspired offering with a scoop giveaway this week after finding the sweet spot between gelato lovers and wine aficionados meet. 

The new ‘Prosecco Rosé’ flavoured gelato was created in collaboration with Brown Brothers to help capture the very essence of an Australian summer. 

But it will be available to eager ice cream lovers for a limited time – starting with an epic scoop giveaway in Wynyard Park, Sydney, on Friday.

Rain, hail or shine the gelato team will be perched under their marquee from midday offering everyone in the city a free scoop of the inspired flavour.

Prosecco Rosé quickly became the drink of choice this summer – with its watermelon and strawberry notes especially appealing.

Emma Brown, a fourth generation family member of the popular wine company, revealed she was thrilled with the collaboration.

‘We wanted to partner with a like-minded tastemaker who crafts products to excite consumers as we do,’ she said.

‘Prosecco Rosé is the perfect summer wine, so it was a very easy decision to partner with Gelato Messina.’

Gelato Messina chef Donato Toce says that the taste profile of Prosecco Rosé lends itself beautifully to gelato and the team took inspiration from refreshing summer prosecco cocktails, like the Bellini. 

‘We wanted to highlight the vibrancy of Brown Brothers Prosecco Rosé, so the gelato is our take on the Bellini cocktail.

‘It has a delicate flavour profile featuring blood peach, with a lychee cream and rose puree,’ Mr Toce said.

The scoop giveaway is strictly while stocks last on Friday, February 4.
