Thousands of Australians responded to a call to rehome an adorable blind American bulldog puppy.
RSPCA Victoria was inundated with so many applications to take home four-month-old Molly, that they are unable to accept any more after a Facebook post advertising her adoption racked up thousands of likes, comments and shares.
The post explained that after an assessment from a vet, the sweet Molly had to have both of her eyes removed to ease ongoing pain.

‘Being the spritely puppy she is, Molly has bounced back with fervour and is now ready to find a new loving home,’ it read.
‘Blind dogs are really like any other dogs and tend to make up for their lack of sight remarkably well.’
Molly is a friendly, confident and outgoing pooch who will need a family willing to make special considerations and be creative in their training.

Her new home will also need to be dog-proofed and have a consistent furniture layout so Molly can get to know and easily navigate her way around her new house.
Molly’s story touched the hearts of thousands of animal loving Aussies and the RSPCA Victoria was flooded with interest for the loveable puppy.
‘Oh my goodness my heart broke and melted at the same time. Molly is just beautiful. I truly hope she goes to a home that will love her and give her a brilliant future, as she deserves,’ one person wrote.
In a post to Facebook, RSPCA Victoria explained that after an assessment from a vet, the sweet Molly had to have both of her eyes removed to ease ongoing pain.
‘Oh sweetheart! How brave and resilient you are! If I didn’t have a challenging dog I would open my heart and home to you! Whoever is privileged enough to become this beautiful girl’s family, please cherish her and give her the best forever home!,’ another said.
In an updated post, the RSPCA Victoria announced they could no longer take applications and thanked all who responded.
‘We are passing on all the hugs and pats, and Molly is feeling very loved indeed!’ the post said.
