Nicole Kidman looks stylish as she gushes over the book her new feminist TV series is based on as she celebrates World Book Day
She’s starring in and producing the new AppleTV+ series Roar.
And on Saturday, Nicole Kidman took to social media to plug the book on which her new series is based.
Sitting on a sunny doorstep, the 54-year-old actress held up her copy of the book Roar, by author Cecelia Ahern.

‘So this is my book, I’m going to recommend, that we just made into a series called Roar,’ said Nicole.
Roar is a collection of 30 short stories, each telling the tale of women in different stages of their lives dealing with some kind of challenge.
It comes just weeks after Nicole debuted a surprising new look – a flirty red bob haircut.

However the new hairstyle was simply a wig.
‘Waiting for you all to come watch @roar with me next week,’ she teased in her caption, referencing the upcoming Apple TV+ series.
In one image, Nicole stared into the distance while on the ledge at a scenic Australian look out.
Meanwhile, in a second her face was turned away from the camera, focusing on her natural surroundings.

The Academy Award-winner’s fans were quick to spot her new do, with many commenting on it.
‘Did you cut your hair?’ one inquisitive follower wrote.

And a third simply wrote, ‘Gorgeous!’

Nicole’s post comes after the first-look trailer for her new Apple TV+ series Roar was released which showed the the star surprisingly eating photographs.
Each episode of the feminist-themed series tells a different woman’s story – with a different big-name actress in the leading role.
Alison Brie, Merritt Wever, Issa Rae, Meera Syal, Betty Gilpin, Kara Hayward and Fivel Stewart round off the sterling cast.
