A talented makeup artist has become a viral sensation with her inredible optical illusion looks that take up to 12 hours to create.
Esther Aular, 29, from Bogota, Colombia, goes by ‘Nekita’ and leaves her 83,000 Instagram followers stunned with her incredibly detailed designs.
The makeup artist’s looks have ranged from animals including a lion and a chicken to iconic characters including Spiderman, Dr Strange and Gollum.
And Esther has also created optical illusions, including one which seems to portray her with multiple sets of eyes.
Nekita said: ‘My type of makeup is surrealism and optical illusion looks. It takes four to six hours to do most looks but sometimes it can take eight to 12.
‘But it’s my art, my emotions, it’s what I live and love so I find it easy to come up with ideas. I just take my face and do my makeup and become who I really am.’
Nekita says that she channels her own emotion into the unique looks in order to come up with ideas. Some of the mind-blowing designs are collated below.
