By using the app shoppers can also keep track of their Everyday Rewards points, as $10 will be received for every 2000 pointed collected.

The app uses a verification system called 3DS that helps authenticate a card holder with their bank for protection from potential fraud.

In a TikTok video, Queenie can be seen browsing the aisles and shopping for desired goods, explaining how once the item is scanned it can be placed in your bag.

‘You will see how much it will cost and how many items you have,’ Queenie said, adding: ‘I don’t have to be shocked at the counter anymore!’

To scan fruit and vegetables that don’t have a barcode, simply place the item on the scale then scan the barcode that pops up.

‘The scale atomically knows what [food] it is. It’s like magic,’ Queenie joked.

‘When you’re done shopping you can head to the Scan & Go counter and the best part is there’s no line and your food is already in your shopping bags.

‘So all you need to do is pay and leave!’
