She was forced to postpone her romantic Italian nuptials in September due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

While her wedding plans are on hold, Anthea Turner was able to enjoy a festive night out with her fiancé Mark Armstrong at London’s Kew Gardens on Saturday evening. 

The TV presenter wrapped up for the occasion in a beige-coloured padded jacket and cream scarf as she battled the chilly temperatures at the Royal Botanic Gardens’ annual Christmas at Kew event.

The 60-year-old donned a pair of dark wash jeans with knee-high Timberland boots and draped a tan leather bag across her body. 

The TV star looked fresh-faced for her evening in the outdoors as she posed for several snaps around the West London gardens, including a selfie of her cosying up to partner Mark under a fairy light archway.  

Anthea was scheduled to tie the knot to fiance Mark in September in Italy, but the pair were forced to postpone their nuptials due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

She previously told HELLO!: ‘Mark and I had planned to go out and look at venues in March and then set a date for September.

‘Mark is from Italy, his family are from Milan, so it seemed the perfect place for us.

‘It will be next year now. I am not even in any angst about it. When we do it, it will be small and cute, just with our close friends and family.’

She was previously married to ex-husband Grant Bovey for 13 years, but the couple split after he cheated on her with a woman half her age in 2013.

Anthea’s first marriage was to her manager, former DJ Peter Powell, in 1990, with the couple splitting up eight years later.

In October, the veteran presenter detailed being the target of three thefts in just two months.

Anthea took to Instagram last month and revealed she was ‘devastated’ after thieves smashed into her Range Rover and stole her designer handbag.

The TV personality shared a photo of her vehicle with a smashed-in back windshield and revealed she was the target of three thefts in two months. 

Anthea detailed how she had been enjoying dinner with friends last week when thieves broke into her vehicle and stole a Mulberry handbag, an item of great sentimental value to her.

Posting a photo of her car, a mobile phone and bike that were also stolen, Anthea wrote: ‘There’s a latin phrase “omne trium perfectum” everything that comes in three is perfect. Well not ‘Perfect’ but maybe it ends my thieving bad luck?

‘… my iPhone from my bag in a swimwear shop on The Kings Road and last week the back screen of my car was smashed in and the thieves retrieved a holdall from the boot.’ 

‘We have to take our personal security up a notch NEVER assuming your possessions are safe in the ‘normal’ way. 

‘But we need help, more CCTV cameras that are freaking working are a must and for bikes sophisticated racks that lock your bike in. DYK thieves use portable angle grinders that get through a D-locks in minutes? 

‘Yes it’s that bad. So many trips I’d happily make on my bike but now hesitant because I’m scared of it being nicked.’
