Shopper discovers a pair of stylish $12 pants in a VERY unexpected aisle at Kmart

A shopper has shared her favourite new wardrobe staple – and it was a $12 buy from a very unexpected aisle in Kmart.

Mary Tabbaa, from Melbourne, revealed that her recent purchase was a pair of stylish pants found in the teenage boys’ back to school section.

The fashionista styled the ‘Asphalt’ pants with a white crop, silver jewellery and cream coloured heels to finish the look.   

Mary purchased the school pants in a boys’ size 14 and was excited to share that they feature an adjustable waistband to create different fits. 

‘I like them because you can make sure they fit you right and then make the waist smaller,’ she said. 

Mary’s Kmart find is a great dupe for the tailored pant trend that’s being featured in store front windows everywhere.

The $12 pants are available in a dark grey and deep navy colour but Mary suggests to visit other back to school stores for more colours.  

‘You know how they do those ugly colours for school clothes, they would actually look really cool in these pants,’ she said. 

Mary, impressed with her sleek and stylish find, shared the pants to social media where many have been inspired to buy the surprising fashion staple themselves. 

‘I literally just went and bought them,’ a Kmart shopper said.

‘Omg these are great! I never thought to look at the boys section for tailored pants,’ a woman said. 

‘Wow what a find! Guess I’ll be going to Kmart today,’ another said.
