The Double Melt deal includes a double, flame-grilled beef burger with melted cheese sauce and regular fries.

For an extra £2, the King Box Double Melt is made up of a double flame-grilled beef burger with melted cheese sauce, regular fries, a regular drink and the choice of chilli cheese bites, chicken nuggets, or a Mini Fusion for those in the mood for something sweet.

Burger King has excited fans by announcing the launch of the Double Melt deal for the bargain price of £2.99, which is being rolled out nationwide today

Burger King has also added a spicy addition to their famous chicken fries.

Like the original, Jalapeño Chicken Fries are made with 100 per cent chicken breast, coated in a light and crispy jalapeno seasoned breading.

The tender chicken fries are in the shape of giant french fries, which make them perfectly shaped for dipping in Burger King customers’ sauce of choice.

They can be bought on their own or as part of a meal alongside Burger King’s signature golden french fries and drink of choice to accompany all that crispy chicken goodness.

The new menu items have received a better reception than another recent innovation from the fast food chain – the Chpi Butty.

The British staple, which is being trialled in New Zealand as part of Burger King’s Change Range menu, caused confusion last month when a photograph of the sandwich appeared online.

The burger contains the fast food restaurant’s fries sandwiched between a sesame seed bun alongside tomato ketchup and mayonnaise.

It came as a very familiar sight to many Britons, who mocked the American fast food chain for taking so long to ‘finally figure out what a chip butty is’.
