‘I need the endorphins to stave off depression and low self esteem..But I’ve got a home gym here with an ancient running machine which will do.

‘I’m doing 5-10k a day with different speeds and inclines. If I was in the UK I’d definitely hire a rowing machine and slip it under the bed it’s great for fast cardio and doesn’t take up space also I’d highly recommend @iceman_hof breathing technique it’s a cardiovascular workout without moving and helps with depression too!!!!

‘So far we have loads of fresh fruit and veg in the local shops which is great and I’m really cutting down on sugar in the house as it only inflames the body and reduces my ability to fight any [germs] knocking about #corona #lockdown #spanishlockdown.’

Davinia also shared a slew of videos to her Instagram Stories revealing how Marbella had turned into a ghost town due to the pandemic, with residents only allowed to visit supermarkets and health food shops.

She also revealed that she would be relying on DIY to pass the time while the country remains in quarantine, writing: ‘Morning from Spain, so it looks like you guys are catching up with us and are going on lockdown.

‘One piece of advice, get to B and Q get all the little things you need to do the house up and get your jobs done because not doing anything will just make you sit near the kitchen and circumnavigate the fridge.

‘I’m going to paint this monster of a house white.’

Desolate: The star also shared a glimpse of her local shopping centre, which was desolate as only the supermarkets and health good shops were allowed to stay open

In a video from her local shopping centre, Davinia revealed that only certain shops were being allowed to stay open, and were heavily guarded by police.

She wrote: ‘Hello it is dead, the health store’s open of course, a load of stuff, and the butchers is open, it’s like that specialist ham they do, everywhere is cordoned off security it’s literally a ghost town.

‘I’ve just been into the local supermarket and what they’ve done is cordoned off all the aisles apart from the food aisles, so you can’t get the clothes or the children’s toys or even the electrical goods.

‘So it stops day trippers from browsing, so the supermarket is exclusively for food and it’s pretty empty, loads of fresh produce in.

‘I managed to get a whole chicken which is good cos I can eat the meat and boil the bones, I’m trying to make multi use of everything I buy.’

Back at her lavish home, Davinia went onto explain that she’d set up disinfectant for people entering so they could wash their feet to avoid spreading the virus.

She told her followers: ‘What I’ve got is, that’s a champagne bucket, but I’ve filled it with disinfectant so you can put your feet in and just wipe it with a towel.

‘So anyone who goes out is obviously gonna step in whatever, doesn’t make sense to me so what’s the point in quarantining, so you can step your feet in and walk through the rest of the house.’

Hours later Davinia made the startling revelation that police were starting the monitor whether people were just leaving the house to buy good.

She said: ‘I’ve just been told now if I go out for shopping I’ve got to take me receipt with me, if the police pull you over and you’ve not got proof of purchase or time of purchase they’ll give you a two grand fine

‘All I’ll say is I think all of this is coming your way, so I don’t know it’s getting really real.’

No stranger to documenting her lifestyle regime, Davinia revealed she was planning to pass some of the time being kept indoors by having daily facials.

She told her followers: ‘This is how I’ve decided to deal with the lock down I’m going to do daily facials, daily inclined runs, daily meditations and try not to eat chocolate biscuits it’s really tricky

‘I definitely need to get some kind of exercise thing on, because you’re going to get huge it’s impossible not to graze.’

Spain is one of several countries in Europe to introduce strict lockdown measures, with residents only allowed to leave their homes to buy food or travel to work.

The country has seen a total 11,178, the second-highest figure in the continent behind Italy.
