They are making the most of family time after vowing to stay indoors as much as possible to help the NHS amid the coronavirus pandemic. 

And David Beckham was every inch the doting father as he read daughter Harper, eight, Peter Pan before bed on Friday night. 

Meanwhile a bemused Victoria, 45, playfully scolded their adorable working Cocker Spaniel, Fig, who cheekily lay down on Harper’s bed, instead of her own dog basket.

The ex-footballer, 44, shared a video to his Story that showed him reading Harper the fairy-tale while snuggled up in bed.

The fashion designer filmed the shirtless hunk while he read the story with sweet captions placed over the clips.

However, near the end of the book a frustrated David penned: ‘Sometimes Daddy’s aren’t always perfect’ when he stumbled over a word and closed the book.

Naturally Harper appeared unbothered by her David’s mistake and was soon in for a treat when Fig jumped into bed with her.

The former Spice Girl shared an adorable video of the pooch lying on a plush white bed instead of his own tartan dog bed as she deliberately disobeyed Victoria’s orders. 

She said: ‘Fig, this is not your bed!’ Unable to stifle her giggles, Victoria then panned the camera down and said: ‘This is your bed.’

The content pooch blissfully ignored his owner and gave his tail a little wag.

Victoria then whispered: ‘Night night’ before sharing a heartwarming snap of Fig and Harper tucked up together.

She wrote over the snap: ‘I guess Fig got her way!’

On Thursday, the beauty urged fans to ‘continue to be kind and resilient’ when she shared an inspirational message amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The designer took to her Instagram account to share the message, in which she also praised NHS staff and healthcare workers around the world.

Meanwhile, her husband also took to the image-sharing app to upload a snap of himself posing with a sign, which read: ‘#IStayHomeFor VB and my kids.’

In her post, Victoria wrote: ‘Everything feels strange and uncertain with Covid-19. My thoughts have been with all of you – my community and your loved ones. I hope everyone is keeping safe and protecting themselves x  

‘We are continuing to learn from the experts and navigating a new way of communicating and supporting each other through this time.

‘Most of all, I am thinking of the incredible NHS staff and healthcare workers around the world. We cannot thank them enough.

She concluded: ‘The solidarity and kindness that has spread online is overwhelming and we must continue to be kind and resilient. xxxx VB.’
