Hitting back: Katie Price has hit back at a cruel troll after they branded her a ‘selfish b***h’ for promoting her new show SAS: Who Dares Wins amid the COVID-19 crisis

They penned: ‘Oh God here we go, there’s a world crisis going on with hundreds of thousands dying, but Katie Price thinks life is all about her! Selfish b***h.’

Mother-of-five Katie then replied on Saturday morning, saying: ‘I’m sorry for being so selfish and encouraging people to #stayhome and watch a tv show that provides some light relief from everything going on.’

A number of her followers then rushed to Katie’s defence, prompting the troll to delete their tweet.

The former I’m A Celebrity star took part in the show having recently undergone breast reduction surgery, leaving her physically struggling, and she ended up dropping out after 48 hours.

She also took part having gone through relationship strife, financial worries and recently learning of her mother’s cancer diagnosis.

She said ahead of the series launch: ‘I was going through a bad time mentally before I did this show. You will all find out what was going on.

‘Since doing the show, for my mental health and stuff, being fit, I am actually so much fitter now than when I did the show.

‘What I mean is because of my boobs physically – you will see some of it – that I shouldn’t have done it. I lied to myself.’

Katie admits she feels a lot better now and is physically fit again.

The ex-glamour model insists she would seize the opportunity to take part in another series in the future and take a second stab at the survival reality show.

It sees celebrity recruits living together in a derelict farmstead on the remote Scottish island of Raasay as they tackle a series of brutal challenges.
