Cara Delevingne defended her ex Ashley Benson on Thursday.

The English model, 27, took to social media to ask fans to lay off the Pretty Little Liars actress, 30, after she recently emerged out with G-Eazy after their split last month.

‘It’s more important now than ever to spread love not hate,’ Delevingne said, referring to the coronavirus pandemic. ‘To everybody hating on Ashley Benson, please stop.’

An insider told People Thursday that ‘it feels like just a fling for now’ between the rapper and Benson, a native of Anaheim Hills, California.

‘She’s getting over a breakup,’ the insider said of Benson’s split with Delevingne, as they were romantically-linked since 2018.

A source told the publication that the ‘couple’s relationship just ran its course,’ adding that while they’d ‘always had their ups and down before … it’s over now.’
