An assortment of edible nuts and bolts have also been sprinkled over Frankencolin’s body.

Additionally, Marks and Spencer have also released miniature versions of their Halloween cake: Frankencolin minis.

The smaller variation comes in a pack of five and an eagle-eyed shopper has already spotted them on shop shelves for £2.

Frankencolin has gone done better with fans on social media than the Easter Bunny version they produced earlier this year.

Fans were left divided online in February after Marks & Spencer launched the Easter-themed variant of Colin.

The caterpillar cake was decorated with carrots along its back as well as long ears and buck teeth.

‘Most disturbing looking bunny I’ve ever seen!’ penned one, while a second agreed: ‘It looks possessed and since when has a rabbit had 6 legs… Definitely won’t be buying.’

Despite being in agreement about its scary appearance, many still admitted they’d still try it.

‘Looks like a thing of nightmares but I bet it tastes good,’ wrote one, while another commented: ‘Will definitely get one.xxxx as Bella would say chase is on the case. Xxxxxx’

A further wrote: ‘I hope it’s in stores now as I need it for my son’s bday cake next week lol.’
