KitKat Chocolatory Australia launches BRIX rum-infused flavours – including Christmas pudding

KitKat has got the adults-only treats well and truly sorted for Christmas after unveiling a special range of rum-infused chocolate bars.

KitKat Chocolatory has joined forces with Sydney’s trendy rum distillery BRIX in a collaboration to create three new artisanal flavours – mojito, caramelised pecan and spiced Christmas pudding. 

Shoppers can now get their hands on the three bespoke eight-finger bars for $20 each – and they are perfect for gifting a festive break or enjoying a luxurious moment of solitude.

Mojito features the famous KitKat crisp wafer with creamy white chocolate, infused with ‘white’ rum, lime, grapefruit and mint for a refreshingly tropical treat.

For the caramel fans out there, caramelised pecan consists of luscious golden chocolate infused with ‘gold’ rum, pecans, ginger and biscuit with crisp wafer.

A classic Christmas dessert reimagined, the pudding has crisp wafers with spiced milk chocolate infused with ‘spiced’ rum, crumbled pudding, currants and macadamias.

‘We’re always exploring new ways to surprise and delight KitKat fans over the holiday season, with exciting flavour combinations and collaborations,’ Nestlé head of marketing – confectionery Joyce Tan said. 

‘So, we’re thrilled to partner with BRIX Distillery to bring Aussies the break we’ve all been waiting for. 

‘With rum trending and tipped to be at holiday celebrations far and 3/3 wide, we couldn’t look past local distillery to bring a little party to this year’s limited edition KitKat bar.’
