A thrilled wife has shared photos of the brilliant library room her husband built her inside their new home – and it includes a stunning addition not found in public libraries.
‘My husband built me a library room,’ she shared in a popular Facebook group. ‘I’m so obsessed with this. Eek! It’s my favourite space to hang out.’
The home library has two bookshelves up against the back wall with a cosy black leather chaise lounge.

A comfortable blanket sits atop the chaise and is accompanied by a throw pillow that reads ‘just one more chapter.’
The room also has a print of sunlight streaming on an open book against a wall and a television with a mini fireplace beneath it.
The group is home to a community of over 120,000 members who regularly share thoughts about novels, authors, and the like.
Many of the members were quick to flock toward the woman’s post and envy her library room – and her thoughtful husband.

‘This is something I never thought I would need in my life,’ wrote one woman.
‘Good things come in threes and gosh do I love, love, love this room!’
‘The space looks super cozy and inviting,’ added a third.
‘I’m so jealous – if the room had a wine cooler it would be perfect,’ suggested one man.
To which the woman replied that her husband had the same thought and they were currently working on the perfect place to fit in the wine cooler.

‘Obsessed with this room! My husband is building me a library complete with a sliding ladder in our new home,’ shared one wife.
Another added, ‘I had something similar growing up – I wish I could’ve carried that room around with me.’
Others were satisfied with dreaming about the possibility of their own home libraries in the future.
‘I can’t wait until one of my children move out,’ said one woman. ‘I’m going to do something exactly like this with their room.’
