A woman has gone viral on TikTok after revealing her hack for looking ‘young forever’ – with skin tape.
She showed off the Botox-like results in a video of her makeup-free face, with the adhesives covering her forehead, eyebrows, nose and smile lines
Valerie, 25, from Canada, explained that she initially began the practice because of her ‘very asymmetrical eyebrows’ – but has now embraced the ritual on other parts of her face.
The clip, in which the beauty and fashion influencer shares her tutorial for the hack, has racked up more than 2.5 million views and some 309,300 likes, and has even received a seal of approval from model Julia Fox.

‘If you think I look crazy it’s because I am crazy. I have been taping my face for a while now and it really works, and I love it,’ she told the TikTok. ‘I want to show you how to do it, why I do it, and where – and the results.
Valerie detailed that she started the practice – using a sticky skin tape which is typically used for bandages – because her uneven eyebrows, which ‘drive her insane’.
She explained how she started taping her brow upwards to lift it, before securing another piece of tape horizontally across her forehead.
Valerie claimed this helps avoid wrinkles created from ‘scrunching’ her face when she sleeps.

While the influencer said she used to have a fine line across her forehead, since using the taping method she has no wrinkles in that area.
She then started incorporating tapes around her mouth to counteract her ‘very visible’ smile lines – which she ‘loves’, but doesn’t want to get ‘too harsh’.
Finally, she tapes her nose to lift the tip up which she says, despite having a nose job at 17, reduces puffiness.
In the morning, she removes the tapes, demonstrating the effect in the TikTok.

‘Usually my smile lines are so visible but you can’t even see them now,’ she gushed. ‘And I wake up with my nose looking really thin, which I love.’
Valerie also cautioned those with sensitive skin to be careful with the tape, and suggested using an oil to remove it to avoid irritation.

She captioned the popular post: ‘Botox? We don’t know her’.
The TikTok garnered thousands of comments from viewers – including Julia Fox, who said: ‘Omggg I thought I was the only person that did this.’

While some users were fans of the DIY method, others criticised the desire to stay youthful – begging her to ‘free’ herself.
One person said: ‘Nothing can stop ageing, it’s a natural process, all these things may just reduce the appearance of it.’
However many set out to try the hack, as some shared tales of others who swear by it.
‘You are telling me that I can fix my asymmetrical eye/eyebrow with a freaking piece of tape,’ one commenter wrote.
