Love Is Blind is back! Netflix announces dating show is returning for a sixth AND seventh season as they drop teaser featuring hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey

Love Is Blind is returning for a sixth and seventh season.

Netflix announced the return of their hit dating show on their Twitter account on Tuesday, along with a February 14 premiere date for season six.

The streamer dropped a teaser showing a woman entering one of the iconic pods – which was still being constructed by hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey.

‘Whoa, whoa, whoa! What are you doing? We’re not ready for you yet,’ Nick, 50, says as the contestant flings open the door. ‘We haven’t even finished installing the pod walls.’

‘Look, I know you’re excited to find love in the pods, but we need a little more time, okay? They have to be ready. Go away, we’ll see you!’ Vanessa, 43, chimes in, before shooing off the contestant.

The fan favorite program, which debuted back in 2020, places singles inside a series of ‘pods’ that allow them to ‘date’ their fellow contestants without actually seeing one another.

Only until after they have accepted a proposal do contestants finally get to lay eyes on the person whom they have fallen in love with.

The couples then explore a ‘real’ relationship with one another before they decide to either remain together or go their separate ways at the altar.

Season six will take place in Charlotte, North Carolina. Past seasons have been set in Houston, Seattle, and Dallas.

‘Singles who want to be loved for who they are have signed up for a less conventional approach to modern dating, and will choose someone to marry without ever meeting them,’ a description from Netflix reads.

‘Over several weeks, the newly engaged couples will move in together, plan their wedding, and find out if their physical connection matches their strong emotional bond developed in the pods.

‘When their wedding day arrives, will real-world realities and external factors push them apart, or will they marry the person they fell blindly in love with? Hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, this addictive series will uncover whether looks, race, or age do matter — or if love really is blind.’

Nick spoke to PopSugar last year and discussed how he attempted to remain level-headed for the show’s cast members.

‘You spend time with these people when they’re going through a really, really vulnerable place in their life. So my goal is always to be as supportive as I can, emotionally and otherwise,’ he said.

The 98 Degrees member went on to speak about the cast members to whom he felt the closest.

‘I really gravitated towards [Matt] Barnett and Amber [Pike]. I just love them. They have a genuine love of life together. They’re wild and crazy, and I love them being wild and crazy together,’ he said.
