‘This project took like 15 minutes and (if I may say so myself) looks so cool! You can use any sort of stone to do it, pick one that crumbles nicely when it breaks for an organic look,’ she said in the post.

The handy mum-of-one starts by carefully dropping the slab on the ground so it breaks apart to create an array on uniquely shaped fragments.

She selects two edge pieces glues them either side of the end of the mirror with the straight edges at the bottom so it’s even and sets aside to dry.

‘This looks seriously unreal, love this one,’ a viewer wrote.

‘Woooooow!!! I am saving this for my future home!! Thanks so so much it’s simple yet beautiful and unique,’ said a second.

One commenter was concerned about the sharp edges on the stone however Genevea put her worries to rest.

‘Because it’s natural stone it crumbles more than breaks in shards!,’ she explained.
